Vacation Day 6, August 6, 2009

This day was quite a busy day. The girls and I went to a water park in Cancun called "Wet and Wild" where we swam with dolphins. We purchased the ticket for the Dolphin Experience which included admission into the water park. They had water slides, lazy river and lots of water rides. If you just went to the park you would pay $50.00 for adult admission, (don't remember childs admission) at first I thought that was crazy, but that included all the food and drinks you wanted, (including alcohol) for the whole day if you chose to stay that long. Anyway we only had a light lunch there, we were just there for the Dolphins. The girls went out into the water with the dolphins, but I kneeled on a ledge in the pool. Here are some of the pictures.

Kisses, kisses and more kisses.

Now we are holding hands (fins).

Petting them, they liked it.

Hannah and Amanda went for a belly ride. The dolphins turned over on their backs and the girls grabbed onto their fins and held on tight while the dolphins gave them a ride.
Since I preferred not to go out into the pool with them, I got be the momma and held and kissed the dolphin. It was pretty cool, we had a great time.

While we were at the Dolphin Experience, Michael and Brian were scuba diving. They had a great time as well.
After the dolphins, the girls and I had some time to kill before the guys were back from the diving trip, so we found a mall. We looked around, had lunch and took a couple pictures of the girls.
With a giant pair of Ray Bans.

And the Hooters bobblehead owl.
That night our resort hosted a Mexican Fiesta. Yes, finally some authentic Mexican food, rice, beans, tamales...again I forgot to take pictures of it.
They gave us girls these bandanas, and the guys these straw cowboy hats. Michaels noggin is a little large for his hat.

My girls, and Brian, his hat fits him a little better.

Here's the whole gang.

Of course, the evenings entertainment included a Mariachi band, they were really good. There was a very good show with dancers and singers, they moved around so much my pictures came out kind of blurry, so I decided not to post them.
The show ended with this "Day of the Dead" character, he was pretty funny, he didn't speak, just squeeked, he got a couple of guys from the audience up on stage, it was hilarious.
