Disney Christmas's

We love Disneyland at Christmas. We've gone several times. This year it was busier than I think I'd ever seen it. But this is about memories, so I won't go there.

This was Hannah's first trip to Disneyland. She was 8 months old, Amanda was 10 1/2. They always have this gigantic tree right at the front inside. We took this picture, then Amanda decided to make it into a cute Christmas ornament. She used to display it proudly, now when they decorate the tree, it never goes up. So, once they are done I go find it in the box and put it on the tree. They know I'm going to do it so why don't they just put it up?? Amanda looks a little sick, she had the beginnings of a really bad flu that was going around that year, that supposedly came in through the LA area. She and Michael were both really sick before we got home, then the next week the baby got sick. Sorry, went off on a tangent.

This was the picture we took this Christmas. Amanda is now 22, and Hannah is 12. Hannah is a good 3-4 inches taller than her sister, but they decided to take the picture exactly how they did it 12 years ago. Being 10 years apart, there were several years when big sissy didn't want little sister around, you know when her friends were over. Now they are so close, it just warms my heart. I love you girls, you are the best daughters a mom could have, stay close for life.
